Pinnacle Airlines reports February figures

Pinnacle Airlines Inc (NasdaqNM:PNCL) has reported its passenger and traffic levels for February 2005.

The airline also provided block hour and cycle information.

Pinnacle flew 402.8m available seat miles (ASMs) in February, up 54.7% year-on-year. The revenue passenger miles (RPMs) were up 58.4% to 249.3m while the passenger load factor was 61.9%, an increase of 1.5 percentage points. Pinnacle also said that the airline transported 514,102 travellers during the month, 34.5% more than in the same period in 2004.

Pinnacle reported that it operated 31,521 block hours and 17,973 cycles in February, increases of 53.4% and 33.1% over February 2004 levels, respectively. According to the airline, the term block hour refers to the elapsed time between an aircraft leaving a gate and arriving at a gate, and the term cycles refers to an aircraft's departure and corresponding arrival.
