The Italian civil aviation authority ENAC has said that it carried out an inspection on Monday (23 May) on an aircraft operated by Onur Air, a Turkish airline that has been banned in the Netherlands, France, Switzerland and Germany over safety concerns.

The inspection was carried out on an Airbus A321 that landed at the Bergamo airport in northern Italy, and according to ENAC it turned up no irregularities. The aircraft was later allowed to go back to Turkey.
