United announces new Ted services

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

United Airlines has announced that in the autumn it will launch new Ted services to destinations in the US, Mexico and the Caribbean.

The launch represents a conversion of several United mainline routes to Ted, as well as one route that is new to United.

Beginning on 7 September Ted will offer a twice daily, roundtrip service between San Francisco and Ontario, California, which is a new service for United. Also beginning on 7 September Ted will launch twice daily services between Denver and Miami; between Washington Dulles and Miami; and between Los Angeles and Phoenix.

Beginning in October Ted will offer a daily roundtrip service between Chicago O'Hare and San Juan, Puerto Rico, and a twice daily service between Chicago O'Hare and Miami. In November the carrier will offer daily services from Denver and Washington Dulles to Cancun, Mexico. In December the carrier plans to launch a daily service between Washington Dulles and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
