ATA estimates travel over Thanksgiving holiday season

The Air Transport Association (ATA) has forecast that 21.7m passengers will travel globally on US airlines during the 2005 Thanksgiving holiday season (19-29 November).
The ATA has said that it has been cooperating closely with the Federal Aviation Administration and the Transportation Security Administration to make sure that travel is both safe and convenient.

The ATA is the trade association for US airlines and its members reportedly transport more than 90% of all US airline passenger and cargo traffic.
