GOL ranks top for domestic punctuality

Brazil's GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes (NYSE: GOL) has ranked first in the Brazilian airline industry in October for punctuality on national and international flights, as well as domestic and international operating efficiency, according to the Department of Civil Aviation (DAC).
The airline said that its punctuality index in the domestic market was 99% in October, an increase from 93% in September. In the same period the industry average was 95%. GOL's international flights had a punctuality index of 100%.
GOL also said that it ranked first in operating efficiency (regularity index versus punctuality) in the Brazilian aviation industry and the operating efficiency was 91% for GOL's routes in Brazil and 100% for its international flights while the average in the industry over the same period was 79% and 93%, respectively.
