GOL reports passenger figures for October

Brazil's GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes (NYSE: GOL) has released preliminary passenger statistics for the month of October 2005.

The airline said that the system-wide passenger traffic (RPK) increased by 70%, while capacity (ASK) increased by 64%. GOL's system load factor for the month of October 2005 was 75%. The domestic passenger traffic (RPK) for October increased by 61%, while capacity (ASK) increased by 55%, and GOL's domestic load factor for the month was 75%.

Compared with the previous month, international passenger traffic (RPK) for October increased by 6%, while capacity (ASK) increased by 3%. The international load factor for the month of October 2005 was 74%.
