United Airlines lounges rated best by magazine readers

United Airlines has said that its Red Carpet Clubs have been rated the best airport lounges in the world by readers of Travel Savvy magazine.
According to the airline, the readers of the magazine said in their survey responses that they favour the central location of Red Carpet Clubs, their complimentary snacks, conference rooms, decor and Internet access options. Readers also appreciated the Red Carpet Club furnishings at the San Francisco International Airport.
United reportedly offers more than 40 Red Carpet Clubs in 36 locations. Members also have access to Star Alliance partner lounges when travelling internationally and US Airways Club facilities when travelling on a same-day US Airways-operated flight.
