Great Lakes Aviation reports decrease in September load factor

Great Lakes Aviation Ltd (OTC Bulletin Board: GLUX) has reported its preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of September.

The airline said that its scheduled service generated 10,187,000 revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 5.1% decrease from the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 1.2% to 24,002,000. The resulting load factor decreased 2.9 points to 42.4%.

Great Lakes Aviation also said that the number of passengers carried decreased 3.0% to 38,637 when compared to September 2004. The preliminary revenue per available seat mile (RASM) increased 10.8% from USD0.2466 to USD0.2732.
