Continental receives approval for Houston-Buenos Aires service

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) has received final approval from the US Department of Transportation (DOT) to begin daily direct flights between the airline's hub at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston and the Ministro Pistarini de Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Continental will also offer through-flight service between New York/Newark and Buenos Aires.Flights to Buenos Aires will begin on 14 December 2005, subject to foreign government approval.
