Bombardier wins contract renewal for operating Atlanta airport transit system

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Bombardier Inc, a Canadian manufacturer of aircraft and other transportation equipment, has entered into a contract to operate and maintain the automated guideway transit system at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
The Bombardier-built system has been operated and maintained by the company since 1980.
The new 10-year contract, valued at USD98m, includes provisions for two additional five-year renewal options.
