Ryanair reports 27% rise in September passenger figures

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has reported its traffic figures for September 2005, revealing a 27% increase in passenger numbers compared with a year ago.
The airline carried 3.02m passengers last month while its load factor was unchanged from September 2004 at 87%.
The airline also posted an adjusted net profit of EUR64m for the quarter ended 30 June, Reuters reported.
In addition Ryanair said that it had exercised options to acquire nine Boeing 737-800 aircraft in an order worth more than USD500m. The aircraft would be delivered from late 2007.
