Delta Air Lines launches fare sale

Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) has launched a fare sale for a limited time to destinations in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.

According to the airline customers can purchase tickets through to 19 October 2005 while travel for all destinations must be completed by 3 April 2006. Customers can additionally earn 1,000 bonus SkyMiles for each flown roundtrip ticket purchased on delta.com.

Delta said that with the upcoming autumn and winter schedule the airline will add to the 37 new international routes introduced or announced since 1 January 2005. New markets in Europe and India include New York (JFK) to Chennai, India (via Paris); New York (JFK) to Berlin, Germany; and Atlanta to Moscow. Some of Delta's newest destinations to Latin America and the Caribbean include Atlanta to Liberia, Costa Rica; Atlanta to Antigua (starts 18 December 2005); Cincinnati to Montego Bay; Salt Lake City to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; and Atlanta to Managua, Nicaragua.
