Boeing likely to launch stretched version of 747

Boeing may launch a stretched version of its 747 jumbo jet soon as the proposal has caught the interest of several airlines.
According to Randy Baseler, vice president for marketing of Boeing's commercial aircraft, a number of airlines are very interested in the stretched version of the aircraft. Baseler also said the company hopes to have something soon on the official launch of the aircraft, Reuters reported.
