Continental offers introductory fare to Delhi

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) is offering tickets for its new direct route to Delhi, India at a low introductory one-way fare of USD499 from its New York hub at Newark Liberty International Airport.
The service is scheduled to begin on 1 November 2005.
According to Continental, tickets must be purchased by 12 September 2005, for travel commencing 1 November to 13 December 2005 and travel must originate in the US and be completed by 25 December 2005.
Continental will reportedly be the only US-based airline to offer a daily direct service from New York to Delhi.
