easyJet to launch Newcastle-Faro service

easyJet, a low-cost airline, is to add a new route to its Newcastle network this winter.
The new destination for Newcastle departures is Faro, Portugal with service to begin on 1 November 2005. The service will be operated three times weekly (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) during the winter, with an increase to daily service for the summer of 2006. Fares will start from GBP24.99 one way (GBP46.84 return including taxes).
easyJet said that seats will be available to purchase at http://www.easyJet.com from 12 September.
