Changi airport receives awards

Changi Airport, Singapore has been named the 'World's Best Airport' for the fifth time.
The readers of UK travel magazine Conde Nast Traveller gave Changi Airport the 'World's Best Airport' award for the fifth year, giving Changi more than 90 marks for efficiency of check-in/transfers, cleanliness, design/layout, safety/security, luggage handling, flight information/clarity of signs, lounge facilities and shopping/duty-free facilities. Changi said that it was given the highest overall score, beating Hong Kong and Dubai airports.
The airport also said that in another reader survey, carried out by Travel Savvy magazine, Changi secured 54% of the votes and edged out airports in Dubai, Hong Kong and Munich, Germany.
