USD4.375m contract from Grupo Synergy awarded to Global AirWorks

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Global ePoint Inc (Nasdaq:GEPT), a manufacturer of security technologies for aviation, law enforcement, industrial and commercial markets, has announced that Global AirWorks, its Aviation Division, has received purchase orders totalling USD4.375m from Brazilian-based Grupo Synergy.
According to the company the contracted products and services are for 20 F100 aircraft recently purchased by Grupo Synergy, which will operate in South America through Ocean Air of Brazil, Wayra of Peru, VIP of Ecuador and Avianca Airlines of Colombia.
The purchase orders are for general refurbishment and the AirWorks In Flight Entertainment System.
