Delta allows customers to change tickets to, through or from New Orleans or Gulfport

Airline Industry Information, Sept 2, 2005

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) has said that customers booked on flights to or from New Orleans or Gulfport may make adjustments to their travel schedule due to the continued impact of Hurricane Katrina.

The airline said that it has proactively cancelled some flights because of the storm. Those customers who had purchased tickets by 27 August 2005 and are scheduled to travel between 27 August and 31 October 2005 to, from or through New Orleans or Gulfport on Delta, Song, Delta Connection or Delta-coded flights, may make a one-time change without penalty or additional fees if tickets are changed by 31 October 2005, and travel begins on or before 31 October 2005.

Delta also said that customers may fly prior to their original departure time without penalty, and those whose flights are cancelled due to an irregular operation may request refunds.
