British Airways has said that it plans to reorganise its customer service and operations division.

The reorganisation, which will take place after the retirement of Mike Street, a senior executive, would see three executives in charge of the operations currently headed by Street, Reuters reported.

The change will see the current director of safety and security Geoff Want as director of all ground operations, while he will also be in charge of the move to a single terminal at London's Heathrow Airport in 2008. In-flight service will be the responsibility of marketing director Martin George, while Robert Boyle, head of network and fleet planning, will take over commercial and operational planning.
