The tender process for Hungary's Budapest Airport breached workers' rights, according to a ruling by Budapest's highest court.

Information given about the court ruling on 22 September said that the court had approved a previous ruling by a labour court that stated the tender process was invalid because of not consulting workers in a proper manner. The court has eight days after a ruling to write it up but the oral information was given to interested parties.

The Hungarian State Privatisation Agency (APV) has said that it will continue with the privatisation of the airport, without specifying how it would be done, Reuters reported.
