New US Airways eyes Hawaii

The newly merged US Airways and America West Airlines plan an expansion to Hawaii after their merger.
The new airline, which creates one carrier from the seventh and eighth largest airlines in the United States, will keep the name US Airways but the America West management, Pacific Business News reported. The first flights operated by the merged airline took off yesterday (26 September).
Travellers will still deal with the airlines as separate companies but the integration is set to start as approval has been given by regulators, shareholders and the bankruptcy court, USA Today reported.
