British Airways has promised to offer flights from Sydney or Melbourne, Australia to London, UK for prices that are equivalent to the English first innings total in the final cricket test match between the two sides.

This reportedly means that if the English batsmen only manage to score 150 runs, the cost for the flight will be GBP150, or a fifth of the normal price. While the price of the tickets will be determined by the English, the number of tickets sold to that price will be determined by Australia's first innings total, The Associated Press reported.

The offer is set to match one made in the UK for residents to buy tickets to Australia for the price of the Australian first innings total.
