Northwest Airlines was the first airline to resume services to Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport yesterday (8 September).
Delta Air Lines and AirTran Airways have also said that they plan to resume commercial service to the airport. Northwest is reportedly operating two of its scheduled daily flights to the airport, while its service to New Orleans has been suspended indefinitely.
Delta, on the other hand, said that service to New Orleans will depend on when the airport is ready for commercial services, The Associated Press reported. The airline intends to resume scheduled service to Gulfport on 20 September and AirTran said it will resume Gulfport flights on 13 September.
