Finnair subsidiary discontinues route between Helsinki and Mariehamn

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Finnish airline Finnair Plc said on Friday (4 August) that its subsidiary Aero would discontinue its scheduled service between Helsinki, Finland and Mariehamn, Aland as of 21 August 2006.
The reason for the discontinuation is that the route is no longer financially profitable, the company said.
