Boeing, EgyptAir and Project HOPE deliver medical supplies

On 2 December Boeing (NYSE: BA), EgyptAir and Project HOPE used the delivery of the airline's second of 12 737-800s to facilitate the free delivery of medical supplies for use by medical professionals in Egypt.

John P. Howe III MD, president and CEO of Project HOPE, said that the organisation has played a key role in training physicians, nurses and other health-care professionals in Egypt for several years. He also stated that "with Boeing's and EgyptAir's participation, we are making sure Egypt's health-care professionals are getting the resources and equipment they need to address the country's health care needs".
