United Airlines launches Mileage Plus Wireless online store

The launch of the Mileage Plus Wireless online wireless store has been announced by United Airlines.
According to the airline, Mileage Plus Wireless is the first and only dedicated online store that rewards customers for their purchases of wireless products and services with Mileage Plus miles.
United customers are able to earn miles when purchasing any wireless device with any rate plan or accessory from the major wireless providers in the US.
The site, which is located at http://www.MileagePlusWireless.com, offers a range of wireless products, including free phones with activation of a new contract, PDAs, smartphones, PC cards and Bluetooth accessories. Up to 5,000 miles may be earned by customers for any new service contract, as well as 10 miles per dollar spent on all accessories.
The programme was reportedly developed in conjunction with MForce Communications and is powered by InPhonic, an online provider of wireless products and services.
