CanJet makes agreement with Canadian government for air travel

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
CanJet Airlines has made an agreement with the Government of Canada regarding air travel.
The carrier said that the deal is expected offer substantial air travel savings for the federal government and increased business for CanJet.
CanJet also said that the terms of the programme cannot be disclosed for reasons of commercial confidentiality but will be applied directly to all CanJet bookings made through the government's integrated travel service for employees, whether through the full service travel agency or the on-line booking engine.
The implementation date for the agreement was 8 May 2006.
