NAV CANADA proposes service charge reduction

NAV CANADA has proposed a 3% reduction in its customer service charges, effective 1 September 2007.

NAV CANADA said it's the second consecutive year that the organisation has reduced its charges, there was previously an average 1.8% reduction in charges that became effective on 1 September 2006.

The company also stated that, with this proposal, overall NAV CANADA service charges will have increased by only 7% since they were fully implemented in 1999. This is reportedly an estimated 13 percentage points below inflation.
