Four technology solutions from Sabre Airline Solutions, a software and services provider for the airline industry, have been selected by Aloha Airlines, a carrier based in Honolulu, to help with the company's expansion.
Aloha Airlines has selected the Sabre Flight Control Suite, Sabre Streamline StaffPlan system, Sabre Qik Business Processing Solutions and the Quasar passenger revenue accounting system. The solutions are intended to improve the airline's revenues or reduce its operating costs and will help the airline to streamline its operations and maximise resource use, helping it to remain competitive in the market.
The Flight Control suite is intended to help improve efficiencies of flight operations, real-time monitoring of crew qualifications and crew management, while the StaffPlan system determines employee gate agent and ramp personnel staffing levels.
The Qik solutions interfaces will be used by Aloha Airlines to improve productivity and customer service for reservations and airport agents and is expected to generate cost savings for the company. The Quasar system will provide immediate collection of e-ticketing data and offer more robust revenue accounting and reporting functionality and faster access to data, helping to boost revenue recoveries, compared to manual systems.
