GOL and Delta sign agreement for baggage and ticketing

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Brazil's GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes (NYSE: GOL and Bovespa: GOLL4) has made a baggage and ticketing agreement with Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL).
The company said that, effective 1 July 2007, the agreement provides Delta's passengers witheasier connections through Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to destinations in Brazil as well as to Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Rosario, Argentina; Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia; Santiago, Chile; Asuncion, Paraguay; Lima, Peru; and; Montevideo, Uruguay.
A portion of travel for some itineraries may be operated by the Delta Connection carriers: Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Chautauqua, Comair, Freedom Airlines, Shuttle America, and SkyWest.
