ATA comments on US-EU tentative agreement

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
The Air Transport Association (ATA), a trade association for airlines in the United States, has commented on the tentative US-European Union open skies agreement.
ATA said that, while it has not seen the details, the tentative agreement has the potential to create new channels for economic development between the US and Europe.
ATA also said it is pleased that the parties were able to work through the outstanding issues to reach the agreement.
