SAS uses TIBCO's ESB software

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
TIBCO Software Inc (Nasdaq: TIBX) has said that Scandinavian airline SAS, a member of the Star Alliance, is using its enterprise service bus (ESB) software to enable the sharing and re-use of new applications, data and services with legacy applications.
The SAS integration project, comprising TIBCO Enterprise Message Service and TIBCO BusinessWorks, reportedly allows the airline to bring together all its logistics and resourcing systems for the more efficient sharing of information during bookings, staff deployments and equipment scheduling.
No financial details have been disclosed.
