Panasonic Avionics amends agreement with Emirates

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Panasonic Avionics Corporation, a provider of in-flight entertainment (IFE) and communications systems, on 19 November said that it has signed an amendment to its main contract with Dubai's Emirates.
Panasonic said the amendment is valued at about USD500m and is part of an expanded agreement to install the eX2 in-flight entertainment system on Emirates' new aircraft purchases and fleet upgrades.
