Southwest Airlines yesterday (9 October) said it is launching a new service for taking cruise-goers' baggage from the seaport to the airport.
The carrier has entered into a partnership with Bags To Go Enterprises and, in cooperation with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), customers of Southwest Airlines can now check bags and obtain a boarding pass at the port where their cruise ship docks.
Southwest said the new service will allow travellers time to explore and enjoy the city in which they disembark without their bags.
