Third quarter 2007 results announced by ExpressJet

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
A loss for the third quarter of 2007 of USD22.3m, or USD0.41 per share has been announced by ExpressJet Holdings Inc (NYSE: XJT).
Third quarter net revenue reportedly totalled USD441.3m. The airline said that this consisted primarily of: USD75.6m from the branded operation, which includes flying as ExpressJet and pro-rate flying for Delta; USD357.4m from the company's contract flying, comprised of capacity purchase agreements with Continental Airlines and Delta Air Lines and of charter flying; and USD9.9m from the provision of third-party ground handling and maintenance services.
In addition available seat miles under the contract flying ExpressJet performed for Delta and Continental totalled 2.8bn and represented 192,151 block hours across both systems.
The company revealed that, in the branded segment, it ended the quarter with 534m revenue passenger miles and a load factor of 61%.
