Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) has, for the tenth consecutive year, come out on top in the results of a survey of Conde Nast Traveler readers, published in the magazine's October 2007 edition.
The airline said it outranked all of its United States competition in international business class and domestic first class service, according to the results of the survey.
The overall rankings were determined using a variety of criteria, including Seat Comfort/Legroom, Food, Cabin Service, Amenities/Technology, Airport Lounge Clubs and Frequent-Flier Privileges. Continental's BusinessFirst service has reportedly topped the international premium-class service offered by the airline's US peers in the Conde Nast Traveler rankings since 1998.
Additionally, in the 2007 Conde Nast Traveler rankings, Continental also placed highest among US carriers for domestic premium-class service and survey participants ranked Continental's seat comfort/legroom, airport lounge clubs and frequent-flier privileges above all major US carriers.
The rankings from Conde Nast Traveler were compiled from surveys of more than 2,000 frequent business travellers.
