Ryanair appoints Bridget Dowling as sales and marketing manager, UK and Ireland

Bridget Dowling has been appointed as sales and marketing manager for the UK and Ireland by low-fares airline Ryanair (NasdaqGS:RYAAY), taking over from Caroline Baldwin.

Ryanair said Dowling will now hold overall responsibility for the company's sales and marketing activities in the UK and Ireland.

Dowling was employed as sales and marketing executive for Italy for Ryanair from January 2003 to January 2005; after which she served as sales and marketing manager for Italy from January 2005 to September 2006. She was then employed as the company's sales and marketing manager for southern Europe from September 2006 to March 2008.

According to Ryanair, Dowling will work with her team to continue the airline's level of growth for the UK and Ireland, which represents 46% of the company's traffic.
