Alaska Airlines to provide charter flights for Seattle Mariners

Alaska Airlines has revealed it has been selected by the Seattle Mariners to provide charter flights for the club's road games in 18 West Coast and Midwest cities in the US.

The airline said the charters are scheduled throughout the regular season to Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago, Kansas City, Missouri and Minneapolis, along with cities on the West Coast.

According to Alaska Airlines, it will offer a pre-departure buffet to Mariners players, coaches and staff along with a special onboard meal service. This will include Pacific Northwest foods such as Tillamook Cheese, Tim's Cascade Chips, OhBoy! Oberto Teriyaki Sticks and select desserts from Parisian Star Desserts, based in Seattle.

Seattle Mariners said the airline has been an important corporate partner for many years and confirmed the charter agreement is an extension of the relationship.
