Qantas Freight Enterprises to acquire Jets Transport Express

Qantas Freight Enterprises, a business that markets the cargo capacity on international services operated by Qantas and Jetstar, has entered into an agreement to acquire the trucking business Jets Transport Express (Jets).
Jets specialises in interstate air freight movements, providing bonded interstate trucking for domestic legs of international air freight with the use of trailers that are specially designed to handle air freight pallets.
The acquisition of Jets is due to be completed by the end of May. No financial details were disclosed.

Grant Fenn, the executive general manager of Qantas Freight Enterprises, said the acquisition of Jets would allow the company to offer a truly seamless transfer between international and domestic operations.
