Delta and Northwest offer reciprocal travel programme for employees

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) and Northwest Airlines (NYSE:NWA) have announced a reciprocal travel programme for more than 100,000 employees and retirees of the two companies.
The arrangement will give reciprocal access to both airlines' worldwide route systems for free, standby travel, effective from 6 May.
The launch of the enhanced travel programme is part of the combination of Delta and Northwest, and is something that can be achieved prior to completion of the regulatory review process. The two airlines expect this review process to be concluded by the end of 2008.
