SWISS International Air Lines introduces flights to Florence, Sofia and St Petersburg

Three new destinations have been added by SWISS International Air Lines to its route network this week, providing new ways for UK travellers to travel to Florence, Sofia and St Petersburg, via Zurich.

The airline said it has introduced a thrice daily service to Florence, Italy, along with daily services to Sofia, Bulgaria and St Petersburg, Russia, with return air fares starting from GBP114, GBP134 and GBP174 respectively.

The daily SWISS Zurich to Florence schedules, with connection to and from the UK, include flight LX 1678, departing Zurich 07:35, arriving Florence 08:50; flight LX 1674, departing 12:50, arriving 14:10; and flight LX 1680, departing 17:45, arriving 19:00; local time.

The daily Florence to Zurich schedule includes flight LX 1679, departing Florence at 09:30, arriving Zurich at 10:55; flight LX 1675, departing 14:40, arriving 16:00; and flight LX 1681, departing 19:40, arriving 21:05; local time.

The daily Zurich to Sofia schedules include flight LX 1860, departing Zurich at 13:50, arriving in Sofia at 16:15; and flight LX 1861, departing Sofia at 17:00, arriving Zurich at 18:20; local time.

In addition, the airline offers daily flights from Zurich to St Petersburg, with flight LX 1310 departing Zurich at 09:00, arriving St Petersburg at 14:35; while flight LX 1311 departs St Petersburg at 15:25, arriving

Zurich at 16:35; local time.
