LodgeNet appoints Scott Kirby to board

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
LodgeNet Interactive Corporation (Nasdaq: LNET), a provider of media and connectivity solutions, yesterday (19 August) announced the appointment of Scott Kirby, the president of US Airways, to its board of directors.
Prior to becoming president of the airline, Kirby served as US Airways' executive vice president, sales and marketing, a position he had previously held at America West Airlines.
Kirby had been employed by America West since 1995 and prior to that worked for Sabre Decision Technologies and at the Pentagon. He is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy and of George Washington University.
