World Airways commences Boeing 747-400 freighter flights

World Airways, a US-certificated air carrier and a subsidiary of Global Aero Logistics Inc, announced today (25 August) that it has commenced the operation of a Boeing 747-400 freighter for Lufthansa Cargo, a cargo carrier.
The airline has started twice weekly round trips between Frankfurt, Germany and Curitiba, Brazil.
World Airways, which has been operating continuously for Lufthansa Cargo since 2006, also operates three MD-11 freighters for the cargo carrier.
