Delta expands service to Caribbean

Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) has announced that it will be increasing seasonal services to seven destinations in the Caribbean.

From 20 December 2008, Delta will be increasing nonstop services from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to George Town, Cayman Islands; Montego Bay, Jamaica; Providenciales; Turks and Caicos; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; and St Maarten.

On 18 December the airline will also be adding a four times weekly service between Atlanta and St Thomas.

Delta will also be inaugurating new year-round nonstop services in December 2008, including New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Buenos Aires, Argentina on 18 December; New York-JFK to Bonaire on 20 December; and Atlanta to Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic on 20 December.
