Frontier Airlines reports net profit for November 2008

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Frontier Airlines Holdings Inc (OTC Bulletin Board: FRNTQ) has reported a consolidated net profit of USD2.9m and an operating profit of USD2.5m for November 2008.
The airline is required to file monthly operating reports because it is currently in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Frontier noted that its November operating profit included non-cash mark-to-market losses on fuel hedge contracts of USD2.0m.
During November the company realised net proceeds of USD15.9m from the sale of two aircraft which was offset by a USD9.7m net increase in holdbacks from its credit card processors and USD1.8m of additional net deposits in collateral posted to fuel hedge counterparties.
