Singapore Airlines announces first European flight for the Airbus A380

The Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger aircraft, is to embark upon its first commercial flight to Europe on 18 March, when it flies from Singapore to London's Heathrow.
The delivery of Singapore Airlines' third A380 is scheduled to take place in mid-March, which will allow the carrier to commence its London service. The airline's two current A380's operate its Singapore - Sydney route.
According to The Times, the first London flight is scheduled to depart from Singapore's Changi Airport on 18 March at 09:00 and arrive at Heathrow at 15:05, returning to Singapore on the same day at 18.55, arriving into Singapore at 15:35 on 19 March.
