Due to forecasts of snow storms in the Midwest, US Airways (NYSE:LCC) has announced that it is relaxing certain fees for customers who may have to change travel plans.

The airline said that it is offering a number of revised policies to all customers flying 31 January through 1 February on any US Airways or US Airways codeshare flight to or from the following locations: Chicago-O'Hare; Indianapolis; Louisville, Ky.; Detroit; Kansas City, Mo.; St. Louis; Akron, Ohio; Cincinnati; Cleveland; Columbus, Ohio; Dayton, Ohio; Memphis, Tenn.; and Milwaukee.

Affected travellers can move their entire itinerary up to seven days before or after the scheduled origination date, and apply the full value of their wholly unused tickets toward the purchase of a ticket to an alternate destination.

The airline said that customers travelling on certain tickets may not have all elements of the policy available to them.
