Swedish aircraft humidity control systems developer CTT Systems AB announced on Thursday (14 February) that it has secured its first contract for initial provisioning of spare parts for the Boeing B787 from its distributor, the Danish aircraft spare parts and services provider Satair A/S.
In connection with the contract Satair also placed a firm order for spare parts for CTT Systems' Zonal Drying system. The order is valued at USD2.6m.
The Zonal Drying system is standard on all B787 aircraft, where it is used to control humidity levels in the cockpit and in the crew resting areas.
CTT Systems, headquartered in Nykoping, Sweden, provides Zonal Drying systems for eliminating condensation on the aircraft structure, and Cair systems for controlling cabin humidity.
