Bombardier adds three new international service facilities

Three new business aircraft service facilities have been added to the international support network of Bombardier Aerospace.

According to the company, Arkia Maintenance of Tel Aviv, Israel, and Metrojet of Hong Kong, China, have both been named as Bombardier Line Maintenance Facilities (LMF), and RUAG of Oberphaffenhoffen, Germany, has been named as an Authorised Service Facility (ASF).

Arkia is based at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv and the company reportedly has seven years of experience servicing business jets. Arkia Maintenance also holds an additional facility for heavy maintenance located at the Sde Dov Airport in Tel Aviv, and has 1,500 square metres of hangar space.

Metrojet Limited is part of Hong Kong Aviation Group and its service facility is based at the Hong Kong International Airport. Metrojet is certified to perform work on all Bombardier Global, Challenger, and Learjet business aircraft.

RUAG's business jet maintenance facility is located at Airfield Oberpfaffenhoffen and features 5,000 square metres of hangar space.
