Global airline alliance SkyTeam has announced plans for a new co-located facility in Terminal 4 at London's Heathrow International Airport.

The alliance said that it is working closely with airport company BAA, who are coordinating a broad airport relocation project including the expansion and renovation of Terminal 4, to develop a customer-focused facility.

SkyTeam is to reportedly invest in building an alliance co-location facility for all members operating out of Heathrow, which will be completed in spring 2009.
